Monday

• At 13.00-15.00 Young Mothers peer support group: A group for expectant mothers and mothers under the age of 28 with their children. Coffee, tea, and snacks are always available.
• StrongWoman service guidance for immigrant women by appointment.

Tuesday

• At 13-14.30 Open Language Café. At the Language Café, participants strengthen their Finnish language skills through activities and practical interaction.
• At 16-18 Girls’ Space Open evening. A relaxed and safe space for girls and young women (10-28 years old), taking gender diversity into account and respecting self-identification. The group is free of charge, and snacks are always provided.

Wednesday

• At 15-17 Girls’ Space Open evening. A relaxed and safe space for girls and young women (10-28 years old), taking gender diversity into account and respecting self-identification. The group is free of charge, and snacks are always provided.
• At 18-20 Evening for Roma women. A peer support group for Roma women of different ages. A safe environment and community where you can meet new people.

Thursday

• At 10-12 Neighbourhood Mothers Women’s Café. Open Café for immigrant women. Different activities, coffee, snacks and a chance to meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
• At 13-15 Peer support group for women who speak Dari or Farsi.
• At 17-19 Peer support group for Roma girls. A peer support group for Roma girls and young women (12-16 years of age). A safe environment and community where you can meet new people.
• At 16-19 Peer support group for Queer youth (in Liito building at Lummetie 2, C entrance)

Friday

• At 13-17 Peer support group for women who speak Arabic.

Sexual counselling (remote)

The Girls’ Space offers free sexual counselling and sexual therapy for girls and young women aged 12–28, taking gender diversity and self-identification into account.

Sexual counselling provides a confidential space to discuss any questions or concerns related to sexuality, with full respect for privacy and confidentiality. Topics may include menstruation, relationships, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or sexual harassment.

Sexual counselling at the Girls’ Space is available by appointment, via WhatsApp, or by phone.

Sexual therapy

Nicehearts’ free sexual therapy service is available by appointment and remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 PM to 7 PM. Other times are also possible. Please mention when booking that you would like a remote appointment. You can book an appointment by email with the sexual therapist Päivi Tåg at ajanvaraus@nicehearts.com.

The Strong Woman programme is intended for immigrant women and Roma women. We provide support for everyday life, different life situations, and future planning.

Our counsellors can help with practical daily matters, accessing services, and other situations in life where you may need support. We also offer support in situations involving domestic or intimate partner violence.

Appointments are required for service guidance. An interpreter can be arranged if needed.
