For you on social media, a team of youth workers who combat cyberbullying and online sexual abuse.
The goal of the For You on Social Media initiative is to be part of children’s and young people’s social media reality as a safe, trustworthy, and caring adult — someone they can easily turn to when facing bullying, harassment, or violence.
The team is present in and engaged with the social media lives of children and young people by actively participating in the spaces and content young people use, inviting them into support services, offering individual conversation support, and helping forward young people who rarely find their way to other services.
For You on Social Media remains the only non-governmental organization in Finland that works directly on social media platforms to combat harassment and bullying, with services available nationwide.
The team operates actively on TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, while also creating widely popular communications content that strengthens digital safety skills.
